This one is an explorey platformy type of game, but the characters and animation are pretty awesome. You'll soon get sucked in trying to collect all the items and move on to the next level. Who knows, you may even solve the mystery of Scary Girl.

The weather was nice this weekend, which meant lots of boats on the lakes, which meant, in this case, a workout for the Montlake Bridge.

How much sugar is in the food you eat and the beverages you drink? With the internet and all, of course someone has decided to get all visual and show you exactly, using sugar cubes, how much sugar you consume. You can find the sweet truth at Sugar Stacks.

We have many of these around Seattle. Some were appropriated from native communities, while others (like this one) were commissioned works. This pole holds its silent vigil in East Montlake Park.

These days people are looking for ways to save money, but during the Great Depression, being frugal was a way of life. Recounting some of those hard times, and serving up inexpensive meals, is Depression Cooking with Clara.

This isn't a game so much as sort of a music generator. The fun comes in when you quickly realize how it works, and then try to make pixel-based images (like a smiley face or a robot) to see how they sound.
Give Tone Matrix a try.

Sometimes other people do bad things. Not kill people bad things, but take 20 items in the 15 items or fewer line at the store bad things, or cut you off in traffic bad things. The problem is, there's usually nothing you can do about it. What you need is a place to vent.
I can't help you with the grocery store, but I can help you with other drivers. Post your incident and the driver's license plate at Zapatag.
Will anything come of your report? Probably not, but isn't just getting it off your chest enough? Besides, it can be fun reading through others' reports.

We've all been to reunions or get-togethers or trips with family. And nothing says family fun like a group photo. Schadenfreude rears its ugly head at Awkward Family Photos.

We're sitting in a meeting and our Development Director said, "We've contracted some Type R programmers."
I had never heard this term before, so I jotted it down on my notepad, so I could inquire about it later.
Just then our Lead Engineer asks, "What is Type R?"
Our Dev Director looked stumped. "What do you mean?"
"You said 'Type R Programmers'," said the Lead Engineer.
"No, I said 'High Powered'," said the Dev Director.
"No you didn't. You said 'Type R.' See I wrote it down," I said, and showed him my notepad that said, "Type R?"
So now, everything high powered and awesome in the office is "Type R".
I am now on a crusade to get it used outside our offices. I should add it to urban dictionary or something.

Seen in the hall at work: one (unopened) sleeve of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. And it stayed there for two days.
1. How long has it been since the Girl Scout cookie sales have ended?
2. How many times did someone pass these cookies before deciding to yoink them?

Guys can sometimes have a certain biological response. And if it's in public, it can be really embarrassing. And if it's captured on film, it can be on Awkward Boners.

I've linked a few rotating-type games before, but none have been this simple and involved as much trial and error as RotatSpin.

Since I'm totally addicted to Texts From Last Night, I went through my recent text history to see what I could find. They may not be of TFLN quality, but some of 'em are pretty good.

There's really not much to say about this site. It's just a collection of pictures of signs from around the world. And they can be pretty funny.
It's Signspotting.

Spotted on outdoor stairs at the main ferry terminal.
The peppy font almost masks the controversial mandate.

Anybody that's been in a hospital has horror stories about their meals. So, of course, along comes the intertubes and hosts a place that pictorially captures what can only be seen to be believed.
It's a collection of submitted pictures at Hospital Food.

Take the original Pac-Man game, but cut everything inside the game "board" loose. And by "loose", I mean "crazy-ass gravity physics, man!"
You start out going, "Ok, I get it." Then you're like, "Ok, I =get= it. Booooooring!" But, ultimately, you're determined to try to make it work. If you can.
It's Pac-Man Physics. (Yes, this is an exe file, but it tested clean for me.)
