A Hallmark Moment
So, on my way home tonight, I had to stop at the grocery store. Yeah, it's 11:30 at night, but I needed to pick up a few necessities. I see a lone cashier and, down one aisle, a young woman restocking shelves.
There are five other customers in the store. Two girls push a cart, their mouths doing double duty as they both chat with each other and chew some portable snack. A man stands by the milk case, talking intently into a phone/PDA device he holds in front of him. Ok, maybe he's talking into a headset; I don't look too closely. Last, but not least, two middle-aged women, obviously not together, are in the same aisle.
They're browsing the greeting card section. At 11:30 at night.
Holidays never take a holiday, my friends.

Great post.
Were they buying cards for Washington's birthday?
